PLAGIARISM is a term to describe literary theft. A plagiarist is a writer who uses ideas or expressions that belong to someone else and presents it to readers as his/her own. In the world of professional writing, plagiarism is a crime.
Consequences for Plagiarism
Lakeshore Catholic High School does not tolerate any form of academic dishonesty. If a student is caught plagiarizing, he/she will automatically receive a mark of zero and will be required to rewrite the assignment and submit it (for no marks) within a given period of time. Suspension, loss of marks and possible loss of credit may be additional consequences determined by the Administration after communication with the classroom teacher.
