PPL3O - Healthy Active Living Education (Open): This course focuses on the development of a healthy lifestyle and participation in a variety of enjoyable physical activities that have the potential to engage students interest throughout their lives. Students will be encouraged to develop personal competence in a variety of movement skills, and will be given opportunities to practice goal-setting, decision-making, coping, social, and interpersonal skills. Students will also study the components of healthy relationships, reproductive health, mental health, and personal safety.Course fee.
PAI3OF - Individual & Small Group Activities - Fitness (Open): This course is an extension of PPL3O which focuses on the development of a healthy lifestyle and participation in a variety of enjoyable physical activities that have the potential to engage students' interest through their lives. Students will be encouraged to develop personal competence in a variety of movement skills and will be given opportunities to practice goal setting. Decision making, social, and interpersonal skills. Students will also study components of healthy relationships, reproductive health, mental health and personal safety. This course focuses on request activities.Course fee.
PAI3OR - Individual & Small Group Activities - Racquet Focus (Open): The focus of this course is to promote physical activity through racquet sports and continue as lifelonog activities. Through active participation in a well-balanced enjoyable program, students will be introduced to various individual and dual activities such as tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, racquetball, paddleball, pickleball and variety of fitness activities and interactive games. Students will explore and continue to improve their movement skills, personal fitness, and personal competence in each of the sport activities. Students will gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle through the investigation of personal safety/injury prevention and the role of proper nutrition and exercise. Students will develpe a commitment to lifelong participation in enjoyable physical activity.Course fee.

PAL3OH - Large Group Activities - Hockey Focus Course (Open): This course emphasizes regular participation in ice hockey and development of hockey skills, as well as fitness training. Student learning will include the application of movement principles to refine skills. This will be achieved through sport specific fitness training, 18-20 hours of on-ice instruction and various activities to enhance personal competence, fitness and health. The health component of the course will include examination of issues related to healthy sexuality, healthy eating, substance use and abuse, and the use of informed decision making, conflict resolution and social skills in making personal choices.Course fee.
